Enchanting Maharashtra with Shirdi Special Dharshan

Destination:  Mumbai - Tryambakeshshwar – Sirdhi - Aurangabad – BhimShankar – Pune - Mumbai
Day :1
Arrival at Mumbai Airport, where you will be met by our representative who give you a warm welcome and transfer to private deluxe car and check in to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay is in Mumbai.

Day :2
Mumbai – Tryambakeshshwar - Shirdi (Approx 230kms/ 6hrs)
After early breakfast leave at 7am for Tryambakeshwar Temple - the most popular and most visited excursion near the Nashik city of Maharashtra. It is situated in the Trimbak village, which lies at a distance of approximately 36 km from Nashik. One of the main attractions of the Trimbakeshwar Temple is that it is regarded as the main Jyotirlinga, amongst the 12 Jyotirlingas situated in India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and serves as the venue of the main pujas (worship rituals) done in India, namely Narayan Nagbali, Tripindi & Kalsarpa. Also visit Kushavarta, a kund is considered the symbolic origin of the river Godavari and revered by Hindus as a sacred bathing place. Thereafter leave for Shirdi (90 kms/3hrs.) & check- in at Hotel. Overnight stay is in Shirdi.

Day :3
Early morning around 3.30 AM visit Sai Baba Temple where the main gate is opened at 4.00 am to wake up the God and thereafter witness the bathing plus Kakad Aarti at 4.30 am and other rituals. After offering morning prayer return back to hotel. Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast proceed for tour of Sirdhi visiting Baba Samadhi, Chavadi, Dwarkamai, Gurusthan, Kandoba Mandhir, Lakshmi Patil, Baba Prasad all ,Upasani Maharaj Ashram (5 kms)etc. Evening can re-visit Sai Baba Temple during prayer. Overnight stay is in Shirdi.

Day :4
Shirdi - Aurangabad (Approx 202kms / 5hrs)
After breakfast leave at 0730 hrs. for visit to Shani Shinganapur ( 75kms from Shirdi/2hrs-depending on traffic & jam on Saturdays or Amavasya day may take 4 hrs)-the personification of the planet Saturn is worshipped with utmost reverence and devotion by multitudes of people from all over the world. Thereafter leave for Aurangabad enroute first visit Ellora Caves(110kms/2.5hrs) which encompass 34 rock cut shrines epresenting Buddhist, Hindu and Jain art dating from 6th to 10th Century A.D. The most remarkable among them is the Kailash Temple, meant to be replica of Lord Shiva's celestial abode, Kailash. It is the best example of rock cut architecture and an engineering marvel. Thereafter visit Grishneshwar Temple -is an ancient pilgrimage site revered as the abode of one of the 12 Jyotirlinga manifestation of Lord Shiva. Also visit Bibi ka a (Mini Taj Maqbara (ini Taj Mahal). On reaching Aurangabad check-in at Hotel. Overnight stay is in Aurangabad. (Note: On every Tuesday Ellora Caves remain closed. )

Day :5
After early breakfast proceed for excursion to visit Ajanta Caves (106kms) dating back to the 2nd Century B.C.The 30 Rock Hewn Caves adorned with Buddhist sculpture and Frescoes portraying in epic from the religious and secular life through eight century. Note: Ajanta Caves remain closed on every Monday. Overnight stay is in Aurangabad.

Day :6
Aurangabad – BhimShankar - Pune (Approx 385kms/ 7hrs)
After breakfast leave Aurangabad for Pune. Enroute visit Bhimashankar. Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga is situated in the north of Pune, on the Sahayadri, by the banks of the river Bhima. It is from here that the Bhima River flows. It is believed that Lord Shiva was pleased by the devotion of a king named Bhimak of the sun Dynasty and is called the Jyotirlinga in the place. Thereafter leave for Pune. On arrival Pune, check-in at Hotel. Evening visit Talyatla Ganapathi- The Temple of Sri Ganesha in Saras Baug. The temple was the favorite of the Peshwas. The temple was originally built in the middle of a small lake, hence the name which literally means “Ganapati in the lake". The lake was later drained and a small park built on the former lake bed. Later check-in at Hotel. Overnight stay is in Pune.

Day :7
Pune - Mumbai (Approx 155kms/ 3.5hr)
After breakfast leave Pune by 8 AM for Mumbai. On arrival Mumbai, check-in at Hotel. Afternoon half day sightseeing tour of Mumbai visiting Kamala Nehru Park, Hanging Gardens situated on the slopes of Malabar Hill, offering a panoramic view of Marine Drive & Chowpatty Beach, Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan, Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India and drive through the Crawford Market, Marine Drive and flora Fountain. If time permit can visit Siddhi Vinayak Temple. Overnight stay is in Mumbai.

Day :8
After breakfast, based on your flight timing you will be drop in air port. Leave our country carrying with you magical memories of our tour.
